I confess my posting drops off sharply in the summer. There are too many things I can be tempted into doing other than baking in a hot kitchen on a summer day. I have a few apricot-related things to talk about at some point, but for now, there is this.
I’m calling this a Berry Bomb Buttermilk Cake, because I like alliteration. The recipe, from Smitten Kitchen, actually calls for a bundt pan, but I seemed to have misplaced mine. The lemon glaze is not as pretty here, but I’m sure it will taste just as delicious. In the end, I should think that is all that needs to matter.
